'Transformers 5' is set to be launched soon, and Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf are rumored to come back on the hit sci-fi adventure film. Veteran director of the said film -- Michael Bay -- passes the throne, respectively.

According to an earlier interview with the 49-year old award-winning director, he would be leaving the director's chair as he continues on working with his usual documentaries. Bay had been prominent on the highly budgeted films namely, 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and, of course, 'Transformers' (all first four films).

"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," Bay divulged on USA Today, previously. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles." He is currently devoted on his upcoming elephant documentary.

As he leaves the chair, there are series of speculations if Mark Wahlberg, who had landed on the lead role from LaBeouf at 'Transformers: Age of Extinction', would be following his exit. According to Cinema Blend, it might be theoretically acceptable since that it was due to Bay's decision of bringing Wahlberg in the film, there are possibilities that the upcoming incumbent director would lead to his departure.

Adding to the sparkful of rumors, the former Mikaela Banes, Megan Fox, might just end up reprising her role again.

Earlier this June, Paramount Pictures Sr. Vice President Edward Ryan announced the premiere of the highly anticipated film. According to him, the upcoming installment slates on June 24, 2016. Hence, the production company needs to compile all their staff list before the year ends; might as well consider the pressure, after 'Age of Extinction' skyrocketed.

What are your thoughts about the 'Transformers 5' cast rumors and premiere date that have surfaced? Do you think Megan Fox and Shia LeBeouf would be back?
