"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is set to be one of the biggest games of 2015- the last few games in the series have been enormous in the gaming world, and when "Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes" was released ("Ground Zeroes," a small portion of "The Phantom Pain," was released recently and even that little portion made huge waves in the gaming industry).

And now we know that it actually will be one of the biggest games of 2015- because according to KpopStarz, the game has been confirmed for a 2015 release. Though they don't have an official month and day, they can confirm the 2015 release date across Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Gamer Headlines, however, has something even more specific- they're claiming the game will be released in February of 2015.

Yet despite all this fame, "Metal Gear Solid" creator Hideo Kojima is surprisingly humble. KpopStarz has a quote from Kojima, comparing "The Phantom Pain" to the latest installment of "Grand Theft Auto," and apparently Rockstar's graphics have humbled the legendary game designer.

"It's a bit different because Rockstar is going in a very different direction to what I'm trying to create," said Kojima. "When we say we're an open-world game it makes it sound like it's trying to be the same as what those guys are creating. But this is very different - I'm trying to do a free infiltration game."

"What Rockstar has created and the world they have created is super impressive, and actually when I saw the PS4 version a few days ago I got depressed again," he continued. "And this is not game design-related it's just me. The quality that they showed in the PS4 trailer was really impressive."

But if you can't wait for the full game, It's been confirmed via IGN that "Ground Zeroes," a bite-sized portion of "MGS V," will be available on Steam on December 18.

Check back soon for the latest on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes."
