SM Entertainment went to Tokyo last weekend for its "SMTOWN Live World Tour IV" along with a number of K-pop groups under their label.  However, Luhan, one of the most widely known and followed member of super group, EXO was not able to attend.

The EXO member was absent in the group's promotional activities last month due to health reasons. Luhan was also not able to attend EXO's concert in Bangkok, Thailand on September 13 and 14, arousing concern from thousands of fans of the male group.

SM announced earlier that Luhan will not be attending the concert along with Sulli of f(x) and Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and controversial former member Jessica, pointing out health reasons for the EXO member's absence.

According to Soompi, SM said in a statement, "After going to the hospital due to headache and problems sleeping, the doctor said he needed to take a break and long hours spent flying would be too hard on his body."

"In order to protect our artist, we will follow the doctor's recommendation. Luhan will return to a regular schedule after taking the necessary rest."

However, EXO fans believe that Luhan had already recovered from his illness and his absence from the SMTOWN concert has caused several speculations.

Many fans are guessing that the group member might be having problems with SM, with the agency covering up the issue.

Previously, Koreaboo reported that the Chinese idol took to Weibo to send his apologies to fans for his absence on EXO's concert in Bangkok. Luhan said that he tried to do his best to attend every event possible, but his health problems were preventing him. He also wished to get well soon so he can make it to the Beijing event.

In July, the idol was reported to have been suffering from headache, dehydration and heat illness.

Meanwhile, Sooyoung was not able to attend the agency's event in Tokyo because she had a filming schedule for the MBC drama "My Spring Days," AllKPop reports. Her co-member Jessica was recently asked by SM to leave Girls' Generation. Sulli is reported to be taking an indefinite hiatus from f(x) after her relationship with Choiza, who is a member of K-pop group, Dynamic Duo, became public.
