After almost two years of being engaged, Hollywood royalties Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally tied the knot. But amidst all the hype their nuptial has caused, the A-lister pair seemed to have failed in rousing the interest of the public with their wedding pictures.

People Magazine and Britain's Hello Magazine have scored big when they landed the rights to publish exclusive photos of the couple's wedding. But after paying a whooping $2 million for the pictures, sales of the issue show that the pictures didn't show much boost in revenue.  NYDailyNews.com had a representative from the magazine reporting that the issue sold a mere 28.3% more than average for 2014.

The September 15 issue sold around 1 million copies, which is considered a small spike over a typical issue's sales. This is a rather embarrassing figure for the magazine which racked up a total of 2.7 million when they published exclusive pictures of the couples' twins, Vivienne and Knox.

A Hollywood insider explains the lack of drama of the wedding as the reason behind the bleak interest of the public. "They've been together for 10 years, and some readers probably think they're already married."

The ceremony, which happened on August 23 at the family's estate Chateau Miraval, was attended by only 20 friends and family members of the pair. "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple told People magazine. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

In other news, the duo was quick to move on to work after their wedding. Express.co.uk features the newlyweds onboard a yacht recently around the Maltese islands with their six children for their honeymoon and shooting of their latest movie. Brangelina are currently filming their new movie "By The Sea", the first film which they will be starring together since "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005.

Ironically, they will be playing a married couple who took a vacation as a last attempt to save their marriage.  Angelina describes the movie about grief and finding ways to make a difficult marriage work. She even quips, "We find it funny that it's our honeymoon."
