The Galaxy S5 Active runs on Android 4.4 and has a long battery life. With a front facing camera, external storage, and 4G connectivity, the lack of fingerprint reader is one of its major disadvantages.

Among its drawbacks include the lack of fingerprint or heart rate readers and its less rugged design compared to the S5 Active.
