Spotify's web player is recently updated with a new look and with new features, says KpopStarz. The April update made the popular player the "brilliant, comprehensive service we always wanted it to be," according to TechRadar.

The web player, which is available through Spotify's official website, lets its users enjoy thousands of tracks even when not on their devices. Playing songs from the web player does not require the Spotify app to be installed, clarifies KpopStarz, which makes it suitable for desktop use.

TechRadar comments on the web player as being "designed to look both like a desktop and mobile app" because of its clear and very simple layout. The website even went as far as saying it has more features than Google Play. It is also viewed by the site as more mature.

SunStar makes note of the music player's extensive music playlists, which suits different moods and situations. "Select a category and you'll find a large number of playlists under it to tailor your needs," SunStar further shares.

As of now, Spotify's web player has limited functionality, with users not being able to manage their playlists as easily as on the app. There is no option to upgrade to the premium version on the web player. KpopStarz also shares that Spotify web player doesn't allow for offline playing. For this, the site mentioned a competitor, Deezer web player.

Spotify is popular in many countries and in fact in Europe it is the prime music provider, details KpopStarz. With "unparalleled music streaming service" it has captured the hearts of European audiophiles who are subscribed and always tuned in to the player.

Spotify is useful not only for adult music players, says TheNotebook.org. Fifteen-year old Sierra Seabrease, who is enrolled at Digital Harbor Foundation, turned an old piano to a digital dukebox that is linked to the music provider's web player. The Foundation is famous for its "pay what you want" enrollment scheme for a two-week camp to encourage creativity in students.
