Fox's Glee is set to be back for its final season in 2015 instead of in this fall due to filming delays. Speculation is that the delay was been due to some of the actors on the set having a rift and reports of a surprise termination of a show favorite on Twitter.

The return of the original members of the McKinley High School Glee Club to the school makes fans wonder how a pair of actors will be dealing with the rumored rift between them. It was earlier reported that Naya Rivera and Lea Michele had a feud, and it has been confirmed that Rivera, who played Santana in the series, will not be returning as a series regular, Christian Today said. Moreover, many are hoping that their beloved Kurt Hummel character (Chris Colfer) gets the success he deserved like the others in season 5. It could be recalled that after leaving fictional McKinley High School, Rachel Berry (Michele) is off to film a television show after debuting on Broadway, Santana Lopez (Rivera) is a rising star in ad commercials, Sam Evans has made himself known in the modeling industry, and Mercedes is working on her album. Kurt's success list in the series consists of being engaged to boyfriend Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) and starring in a Peter Pan production of a retirement home.

Michele has since denied the rumors of the alleged feud between her and Rivera.

On the other hand, Colfer, who has played Kurt Hummel for five seasons, is hoping for a happy ending, but wants it to be a validation from the character and not from an outside source, according to International Business Times. The actor, who had been a victim of a Twitter hack that falsely announcement his being let go from the show, said, "I would really like, before the series ends, for him to find the validation within himself and for him to realize that happiness is going to come from him, not from someone else."

Meanwhile, supporters of the "Klaine" partnership also wanted to see a wedding before the show ends.

Aside from Colfer, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has reportedly invited everyone from the original cast to reprise their roles for the farewell season, rift or no rift, rumored termination be damned, Christian Today revealed. No word yet on how the story will pan out, but Murphy mentioned that the show decided to not touch on the late actor Cory Monteith's premature death on the show as they imagined it to not make sense anymore. It could be recalled that Monteith, who portrayed Michele's onscreen and offscreen love interest, had died due to a heroin overdose.

"Finn (Monteith) was going to sort of take over the glee club and Rachel was going to be off having her New York adventures," Murphy shared.
