One Direction member Zayn Malik has been engaged to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards since August 2013. The two have not given an update on when the big day is going to happen, but this did not stop gossip from spreading online. 

Zayn, 21, recently posted a photo of himself on Instagram wearing a ring. Perrie, who just recently turned 21, was also spotted having a silver band on her finger while performing at Hyde Park last weekend. This led fans to believe that Zayn and the blonde beauty have already tied the knot. 

A representative of the 1D star, however, quickly debunked the wedding rumors: "Perrie and Zayn are not married. The picture shows his engagement ring."

Zayn recently made headlines after he finally changed his Instagram settings to "public." Mail Online reported that the #THANKSZAYNFORMAKINGYOURIGPUBLIC" hashtag trended on Twitter. 

Meanwhile, Entertainment Wise reported that Zayn was missing in the wedding of his bandmate Louis's mum.

All four 1D members were spotted in the wedding of Louis's mother Jonannah and her new husband Daniel Deakin--Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder, Liam Payne and beau Sophia Smith, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles. 

Zayn, however, did not attend the celebration. Reports say that it's possible that he chose to spend his days off with Perrie instead.  

During the weekend, Perrie posted a photo on her Instagram account showing Zayn asleep with their dog Hatchi, with the caption: "Sleeping beauty's! ;) #Car #travels."
