One Direction, a British-Irish boy band, released its new single 'Best Song Ever'. Since it was uploaded on Monday, the music video made by the boys already racked up around 9.3 million views on YouTube.

The lead track from their forthcoming album was an engaging, feel-good tune of a pop song with sufficient rock elements. This was expected to make millions of teen girls screaming for the boy band.

In April, One Direction led the young musicians' rich list together with Adele. The five members of the band that originated from X Factor Britain raked their fortune after their album Up All Night was released.  They sold 176,000 copies in the first week which allowed them to be inducted into Guinness World Records.

One Direction is comprised of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. Each of them earned GBP5 million last year. Their group was the first British group in the history of US chart that achieved success through a debut album. In November 2011, they signed a contract with Syco Records owned by Simon Cowell. Then in 2012, they signed with Columbia Records. Their third album was anticipated to rake more money like the first two albums.
