More and more information about the much-awaited erotic film "Fifty Shades of Grey" are surfacing.

Here are the things we know about the upcoming erotic film--based on the novels of British author E.L. James--so far: Christian Grey will be played by Jamie Dornan, and Anastasia Steele will be brought to life by Dakota Johnson. It will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.

The first actor tapped to play the Christian Grey role is Son's of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam. He, however, had to drop out of the part, as there was a shooting conflict with the hit biker drama.

"I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn't have taken it on in the first place," Hunnam said at Sunday's Huading Film Awards.

"When you put the time into something like that and a character comes alive in your mind, it's heartbreaking not to be able to play him [...] It was definitely kind of heartbreaking having to say goodbye to that character and not bring it to life," he added.

British musician/actress Rita Ora will reportedly play Grey's adopted sister.

Ora told reports that she cannot give too much information about the film as she is sworn to secrecy. "but I can say that there's a really spicy scene," she teased.

Reports also said that Taylor-Johnson may have included her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson--who most recently played a lead role in 2014's "Godzilla"--to the cast.

There is no trailer for the movie yet (it's expected to be released sometime in September this year), but it has been confirmed that it will hit theaters on February 13, 2015.
