Paperless Post receives USD25 million Series C funding

Paperless Post, an invitations startup firm operating both online and offline, has become a contemporary greeting card business, reported TechCrunch. The company allows its users to make and send customized cards. Today, the company has taken in Series C funding valued USD25 million, reported TechCrunch. The funding was led by August Capital along with other current investors.

Paper Post was established in 2008 and has taken in USD12 million at the time, said TechCrunch. This brings the company’s fund to USD37.4 million in total. The company’s funding was from investors including SV Angel, Tim Draper, Mousse Partners and RRE Ventures.

Since its launch in 2008, the company has been getting clients who sent greeting cards made with the same feelings that you could get from opening an envelope from a snail mail. The company has been directed on designing healthy cards and giving clients a virtual stationary that could be personalized and delivered through email to their contacts.
