TripzonTravel.com lets vacation-goers have the exact trip they want by letting them customize the travel details. The site functions as an all-in platform where users can book all their destinations, flights, accommodation, and activities, according to Boston Herald.

Founder Christopher Bensley said: "We're like an electronic travel professional for people who prefer to do it on their own."

Unlike other bigger travel search engines, Tripzon has multiple suppliers and a built-in tool where users can customize their travel details. The site also has pre-set packages which they can modify according to their preference. Another advantage is that customers have the option to pay for different trip segments at different times. One can first book accommodation, and then later on add activities and other details, the report detailed.

Bensley started the company with an initial capital of $800,000 raised from family, friends, and angels. He then developed three websites for travelers, travel angents, and South Pacific boutique trips. All the three sites - TripzonTravel, TripzonPro, and TahitiJourneys, respectively - allow customers to conduct multiple transactions in a single platform, the report explained.

The Boston-based startup plans to expand its client base by forming partnerships, event planners, and travel firms, Boston Herald reported.
