Microsoft is expecting its Windows 8. The interesting thing is that it improves the booting speed significantly, in less than 7 seconds. It boots so fast that you won’t have time to push F2 to enter BIOS’s setup or push F8 to enter different boot options.

The time for you to push F8 is 200 milliseconds –- it’s very hard to catch it. So Microsoft even developed a boot menu whenever Windows 8 doesn’t load properly.

Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer predicted that there would be up to 500 million Windows 8 users next year.
