Digital interactive application firm elevate DIGITAL has received $3 million in its Series A funding from live events producer SFX Entertainment, according to ADOTAS.

Elevate DIGITAL founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) George Burciaga said: "Our mission has always been to create a platform that allows advertisers and content producers to connect with consumers through an engaging digital interface at the street level. This investment will allow us to roll out our technology in new markets, especially internationally."

SFX plans to introduce Elevate's technology to 30 markets involving live music concerts. The latter's kiosk enables users to send up pictures and even music, at the same time allowing advertisers to display their promotional messages on the screen, Crain's Chicago Business detailed.

To date, Elevate has raised a total of $7.2 million in funding. This includes the $1.5 million that it received from Partners Path Investments LLC in October, the report added.
