SFX Entertainment adds New York ticketing service Flavorus

Media conglomerate SFX Entertainment has acquired electronic music events ticketing service Flavorus, according to Music Times. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the said report.

SFX owner Robert Sillerman said of the transaction: "We are excited to have Flavorus join the SFX family. We are building a new, contemporary model for ticketing and their strength in complex technology, self-serve platforms and promotion will be very helpful as we introduce the next generation of ticketing experience to the music industry."

According to MarketWatch, Flavorus was formed by Todd Sims and James Reichardt in 1999. The company specializes in ticketing, event marketing, and customer service for the electronic music industry. Among its clients are Electric Daisy Carnival, Pacha NYC, Beta Nightclub, and Hard Events, the report detailed.

SFX, on the other hand, is the biggest producer of digital entertainment and electronic music events in the world. The company aims to give electronic music fans. It has promoted various live events involving major brands like Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, Rock in Rio, and Mayday, the report stated.
