EE, a British mobile network, has resolved technical issues following users’ outage last Wednesday evening. The technical issue has prevented customers to access phone calls and send text messages. The network has around 27 million clients and operates under T-Mobile and Orange brands.

Users took their anger on social media platforms including Twitter. Meanwhile, EE also tweeted their apologies saying that “gremlins in the system” caused the technical failure. Customers were even angrier when the cause of the trouble was pointed out on the post to what may seem a humorous approach for the company.

A representative for EE said, “Last night's technical issue that caused a small proportion of our customers to experience problems with their signal has been resolved and all customers are now receiving a normal service. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to those customers affected. If people aren’t seeing signal, we also recommend that they switch their phone off and then on again, and it should be fine."
