SeeSpace has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for its new device. InAIR combines the functions of a laptop, smartphone, and television in a single gadget, according to TechCrunch.

Kickstarter's introduction for InAIR reads: "InAiR turns your TV into a Minority Report-like experience, with layers of Web content, inline with the programs you're watching."

According to Kickstarter, InAIR's name was derived from its activated 3D feature wherein hologram-like data float "in air." Users can then manipulate the floating layered data.

When plugged into a television that is connected to a set top box, the InAIR shows web and social media content on the TV screen. The user can use a mobile app or Microsoft Kinect to control the device. InAIR is currently priced at $99, the report detailed.

SeeSpace has set its funding goal at $100,000. However, the startup has already raised over $158,000 for InAIR and it still has 42 more hours to go for the campaign, TechCrunch reported.
