Photo editing app Camera360 has released its new version to gain traction over its competitors. The updated app now has a streamlined design plus added features that allow users to store data, according to TechCrunch.

The previous Camera360 version had eight camera modes and users had to choose from over 100 pre-installed effects and filters. Going through all these tended to be confusing and took up a lot of time, the report explained.

Camera360's updated version now has four pre-loaded camera modes. The EasyCam automatically adjusts the user's photo according to the settings. The Effects camera lets users pick a filter and preview a shot. The third, which is Selfie, edits the photo to provide flattering skin color. Lowlight camera is made for indoor or cloudy shooting. Another feature, the Multigrid, lets users create photo collages, the report detailed.

The new version also has an option for saving unfinished edits in Camera360's cloud storage for future use, the report added.

Although most of the app's users are based in China, Camera360 is aiming for international expansion. The release of its updated app is a good start for this goal, TechCrunch reported.
