CompuGroup Medical AG (CGM), a German company that provides eHealth solutions, announced that it has entered into a deal to buy France-based firms Imagine Editions and Imagine Assitance. The financial terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed, according to RTT News.

The Imagine group offers a software solution called HelloDoc. This product is made for the use of general practitioners, dentists, and pediatricians. The software is presently being used by around 20,000 medical professionals. The group is also a provider of Telesecretary services and data to healthcare professionals. The two companies employ a total of 110 workers. In 2013, the group realized a turnover amounting to €7.2 million, the report said.

The Germany-based firm said that under the terms of the transaction, HelloDoc will be managed as business unit separate from CompuGroup, wrote RTT News.
