Indian startup Little Eye Labs confirms acquisition by Facebook

Last month, Facebook was reportedly planning the purchase of Indian startup Little Eye Labs. Now, the Bangalore-based firm has confirmed that it was acquired by the social media giant. According to a direct source, the deal is valued between $10 million and $15 million, wrote TechCrunch.

Little Eye makes a software tool for the performance analysis of Android apps. The company's investors include VenturEastland GSF, the report said.

In a statement published on its site, Little Eye said: "With this acquisition, Little Eye Labs will join forces with Facebook to take its mobile development to the next level! This is Facebook's first acquisition of an Indian company, and we are happy to become part of such an incredible team."

As part of the deal, the whole team of Little Eye will transfer to Facebook's office in Menlo Park, California. There, the team will build analysis tools for the development of apps, TechCrunch reported.
