Datel has announced its acquisition of the Sage 200 business from Pythagoras Communications Ltd. The said transaction will transfer the Sage 200 experts at Pythagoras to Datel's sales and support team from a Central London headquarters.

Through the deal, Datel, the Sage Business Partner of the Year, has added the Pythagoras Sage customers to its existing network of 900 clients. These customers have already been notified of the acquisition via email. The notification letter officially welcomed them to Datel and provided details of Datel's support services.

Datel is the top Sage Business Partner in the UK. The firm provides consultancy, support, and implementation services for Sage 200, Sage ERP 1000, Sage Line 500, Sage CRM, Sage ERP X3, and SalesLogix. Based in Warrington, Datel also has branches in the Netherlands and in Leeds. The company currently employs a team of 150 skilled workers who provide support for its client base worldwide.
