Kenan Advantage acquires RTS-Westcan

Kenan Advantage Group acquired RTS-Westcan Group of Cos. The terms of the acquisition deal was not disclosed, according to a report published by The Middle Market.

RTS-Westcan is a company that provides bulk transportation and logistics services. The firm focuses on transporting liquid and dry bulk commodities. The company caters mainly to the western Canada region. RTS-Westcan is currently based in Edmonton, Canada, the report said.

Kenan Advantage is a tank truck transporter based in North Canton, Ohio. The company also provides logistics services to petroleum, merchant gas, and specialty products industries, the report stated.

The Ohio-based firm was backed by Calgary-based private equity group TriWest Capital Partners. TriWest manages approximately USD775 million worth of committed capital through four funds, the report said.

RTL-Westcan sought advice on the acquisition deal from Frank Mountcastle, Joe Conner, Jason Bass, and Jeff Kidd from independent investment bank Harris Williams & Co, The Middle Market reported.
