Invesco Canada Ltd had announced the expansion of its Series P or Private Investor series today. Series P is defined as an option for investors or advisors to obtain a broad range of Invesco's financial products at reduced fees. The products includes tax-efficient corporate class products, mutual funds and managed portfolios. The Private INvestor series consists of P, PF, PF4, PF6, PH, PT4, PT6 and PT8 series.

Invesco Canada, according to its press release profile, operates under three different but complementary brand products Trimark, Invesco and PowerShares. As one of the largest investment management companies in Canada, the firm's primary focus is investment management. Invesco Canada had provided a diversified portfolio of investment solutions to various companies, institutions and individual investors in Canada and the world.

Invesco Canada Senior Vice President for Product Management and Development Jamie Kingston said, "At Invesco, we know that one of the keys to building wealth is having more of your money working for you. That's why we are expanding the number of funds that offer Series P to provide added choice for advisors and their investors."

The Private Investor series is only offered exclusively to investors who have household assets invested in funds of Invesco. The investments made should be at least USD100,000. A press release said that the condition could be met by most families, as investors could have the option to link their personal accounts with accounts held by a family member or a spouse that lives in the investors' registered addresses.

Due to the addition of eight funds, Invesco's Series P is available on 35 funds that span 90 series, the press release said. This includes the T-FLEX series, Invesco's custom-made series for investors who wish to obtain a tax-preferred income stream. Series P is also available for both fee-based and commission-based accounts. Investors may opt to avail tiered management fee rebates on certain asset levels, the press release said.
