One of Google's floating barges will be a dimesonial portal of new technology - documents

According to documents acquired by the San Francisco Chronicle, the floating barge constructed by Google Inc near Treasure Island would be an interactive showroom wherein people could understand the company's latest technology. Earlier on, Google admitted that one of its four registered barges would be an interactive learning space for people.

The documents obtained by the local newspaper confirmed that the barge mentioned would be able to host up to a thousand visitors on a daily basis. The floating barge would be staying at a target city for a month at various San Francisco locations. Locations that Google planned to visit via its barge included Angel Island, Redwood City, and Richmond and Fort Mason. The barge would be eyeing visits to San Diego and other destinationa along the US West Coast.

Google reportedly spared no expense when it comes to infrastructure spending. Google spent USD1.61 billion in its second quarter this year. Typically, tech news website GigaOm said Google only spend around USD2.3 billion on average for the last two fiscal years.
