Signal Hill Equity Partners, together with its management team, completed its investment in OEL Projects Limited. The investment would help the future growth of the Calgary-based oil and gas engineering firm. However, the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Signal Hill Equity Partners is a Canadian mid-market private equity firm. OEL Projects focuses its full service engineering business in upstream processing facilities as well as pipeline systems.

Signal Hill Managing Partner James C. Johnson said that OEL has established a solid team and business reputation in the past forty years. He said that they were excited to working with the engineering firm to help them attain their plans for growth.

OEL President and Chief Executive Officer Jim O'Rourke said about the investment, "We are very pleased to have Signal Hill join the OEL team and we look forward to utilizing the operational, transaction and financial knowledge of its team. Their expertise will help drive our strategic plan and accelerate its execution."
