AEA Investors LP agreed to a EUR640 million acquisition deal with Siemens Water Technologies. The said transaction will be subjected to regulatory approval, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

With over 4 decades of investing experience under its belt, AEA has already established its record of attaining stellar returns in private equity partnerships with middle market firms. It mainly focuses on control buyouts for specialty chemicals, industrial products, and consumer products and services, said the report.

Siemens AG, an industrial water and wastewater treatment company, will still be working with the existing management led by CEO Dr. Lukas Loeffler in cooperation with its AEA partners. Both groups will coordinate for the successful integration of the Water Technologies' operations, according to the Wall Street report.

Dr. Loeffler said the company will work with AEA to continue to build its wide range of brands and water technologies to meet the needs of their clients, as stated in the report.
