Dover closes USD145 million acquisition deal with Finder

Dover Corp recently finalized a deal to purchase industrial company Finder SpA for USD145 million. This news was according to a published report by Mergers & Acquisitions (The Middle Market).The Italy-based Finder is a manufacturer of centrifugal, vacuum, screw, and piston pumps for the gas and oil, power, and industrial sectors.

Finder's deal with Dover Corp was first announced in August this year. The completion of the acquisition deal would have Dover absorbing Finder through its pump solutions group, said the report.

Dover is a manufacturing company based in Downers Grove III that focuses on distributing equipment, parts and specialty systems. One of its other acquisitions was Anthony International, maker of specialty glass and lighting systems, in November 2012, said The Middle Market.

The same report stated that prior to sealing the Dover deal, Finders SpA first sought financial advice from Julien Darmon, Bill Roman, and Alex Murill of Harris Williams & Co.
