RallyPoint said it was able to raise USD 5 million in its Series A round. San-Francisco based DBL Investors led the round. Boston-based RallyPoint is an online collaboration and networking platform which serves the members of the military community and their supporters. The latest round of funding brought the year-old startup's total funds raised to USD 6.6 million.

RallyPoint said it would use proceeds from the round to speed up growth of their military recruiting solutions. The company believes that their platform would redefine how corporate hiring managers would recruit and connect with military talent. The site now has over 125,000 members with as many as 1,000 new members signing up on a daily basis.

RallyPoint has joined hands with Fortune 500 companies like Honeywell, DuPont and Bloomberg Lp to accelerate its employer solutions.

RallyPoint CEO and Co-Founder Yinon Weiss said, "Our rapid growth is affirmation that employers and our military peers want a professional platform like this. Our members are able to start networking and build decisive relationships long before leaving the military, while companies value the ability to bypass the clutter and offer opportunities to the military community directly."
