The market leader in easy swipe free payments and mobile business integration, Flint Mobile, announced the receipt of USD6 million worth of new capital funds during the Street Fight Summit in New York. Flint had introduced to the market one of the most popular iOS payment applications just a year ago.

The success of the iOS app was followed by the Android App and Google Play versions just last week. With the new capital infusion, the company would be able to expand its team, expand its customer acquisition efforts and accelerate innovation and development of new apps for the mobile payments market.

This series B financing round was led by Digicel together with SVG Ventures and other previous investors such as True Investors and Storm Ventures.

According to Flint Mobile co-founder and CEO Greg Goldfarb, "Our new funding partners position Flint well(sic) to drive the next wave of solutions designed to meet the needs of millions of service-centric, mobile businesses."
