Dauria Aerospace receives investments from I2BF Global Ventures

One of the leading global technology investment firms, I2BF Global Ventures announced a USD20 million Series B investment in Dauria Aerospace. The global satellite services company is involved in the manufacture of micro and nano satellites as well as machine to machine wireless communication and technologies for earth observation.

Established in 2011. Dauria Aerospace comprised of experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts with experience from known agencies such as NASA, RapidEye and the space program of Russia. The goal is to develop low cost infrastructure for the rapid monitoring of ground activities and assets. The technology integrates low cost satellite constellations for a unique cloud based platform called CloudEO which provides advanced framework and easy access to GEO-application development.

According to I2BF Global Venture Founding Partner Ilya Golubovich, "I2BF sees a rising oppportunity for scarce resources management and discovery through innovative space applications. Our investment in Dauria Aerospace reinforces our intention to grow our exposure to this exciting new frontier."

For their part, Dauria Aerospace President Mikhail Kokorich, "In the two years since Dauria Aerospace was founded, we've reached several key milestones in technology development and have successfully secured contracts and established our global presence. We are confident that with our new partnership with I2BF Global Ventures and the invested capital, we will succeed in reaching our amplified goals in the next five years."
