Aside from new colors, the exterior of Apple Inc's new iPhones were not much different from the released iPhone 5 model last year. This was according to a report by The Economic Times of India. The iPhone 5S looked the same to the iPhone 5 in size and weight. The difference between iPhone 5C and its predecessors was that the former was heavier and bigger. The 5C used plastic instead of glass and aluminum.

The report went on to differentiate the iPhone 5S as the 5S was incorporated with a faster chip, a fingerprint sensor and better camera resolution. Both the 5S and 5C were made compatible with greater range of 4G LTE frequency bands. Both phones were also made with the latest iOS7, which would only be made available for lower iPhone model users on Wednesday, according to the same Economic Times report.

The new iPhones were released by Apple Inc. last Friday. Apple generated USD156.5 billion revenue last year with total equity valued at USD118.2 billion in 2012. Apple Inc. is listed on the NASDAQ under the trading symbol "AAPL".
