"Wrecking Ball" was forecasted to replace Katy Perry's "Roar" next week after it held the throne for two long weeks.

The prediction came from Billboard which would release the updated Hot 100 on Wednesday. The win was after record-breaking views for the former Disney child star's video. After a day from its release, it outnumbered views previously held by One Direction in Vevo. The Miley Cyrus video had reached 85 million views and was said to be a factor into Billboard's calculations for the most popular song. This would help Miley get her first no.1 single.
