The Powerball jackpot this Saturday would be worth USD 317 million for the annuity. The annuity option for the game would pay the winning ticket holder the prize in 30 graduated installments. For a substantial discount, however, a player can choose to get his or her winnings in cash. For this Saturday, the cash option would be worth USD 176.3 million. No ticket holder hit all the numbers drawn on Wednesday night, which increased the prize in the numbers game.

A Pennsylvania ticket bagged USD 2 million because it matched the first five numbers drawn Wednesday and had the Power Play multiplier option. The Powerball numbers for Wednesday were 11, 19, 33, 42 and 52 with 33 as the Powerball. Powerball tickets sold in Indiana, New York, Maine, Georgia and Nebraska won USD 1 million for also matching the first five numbers but did not have the Power Play option.

According to Philly.com, Powerball produced four chart-topping jackpots of over USD 300 million this year alone. The biggest win so far happened in May when a woman from Florida hit the USD 590.5 million annuity jackpot. She opted for the cash valued at USD 370.9 before taxes.
