The city municipality of Abu Dhabi had launched a new project offer for investors. The new project was to install and operate street retail kiosks and vending machines in the public spaces of the city.

The said project was focused in providing the waterfront of Abu Dhabi, parks and main streets a range of amenities. The project aimed to improve the city's outdoor public environment for both residents and visitors.

The Municipality had identified over 300 locations on Abu Dhabi Island and mainland. The locations would benefit the installation of kiosks. In a statement, the Municipality said that it had aimed to provide quality food and beverage as well as convenience services. The plan would extend throughout the city's public realm to enhance the experiences of tourists and other visitors.

Rashed Bin Ali Al Omaira, advisor, investments and assets for the General Manager's Office at Abu Dhabi Municipality said, "This project will cater for the city's increasing number of residents and visitors and will provide quality amenities in Abu Dhabi's primary outdoor public spaces."
