Amazon launches Mobile App Distributing program to attract web developers

This week, Amazon.com succeeded in making things easier for web developers. Through the latest Mobile App Distributing program, developers could publish their applications across various platforms.

With the new program, Amazon would be able to support the web apps that were created by converting them into HTML5. HTML5 is defined as markup language and a fundamental language standard of the internet. Developers could send their URL to their HTML5 app, which would lead to the Amazon's program optimize the app for smartphones. Furthermore, the app would be available for download for Amazon Appstore's customers and Kindle Fire users.

Amazon's revenue climbed by 22% to US$15.7 billion during the second quarter. Analysts see a strong  growth for the company in 2013. Its earnings were projected to boost by 227%. Within the last few years, Amazon has been investing in the company's infrastructure and distribution network. It also recently announced that 5,000 more workers would be hired for the company's fulfilment distribution centers. With is newest ventures, analysts believe that the company would continue to grow.
