Former child star from 'The Cosby Show' and main star of "That's So Raven' had shared personal news through a tweet. Raven Symone, now 27, tweeted to her followers, "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."

The message is directly related to the recent decision of the US Supreme Court to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act as unconstitutional. This decision paves the way for same-sex marriages previously done and conducted in the future to be legally and validly recognized. The said law aims to criminalize as well as prohibit the recognition of gay marriages throughout the United States.

The tweet is also being recognized as a confirmation of the sexual orientation of the former Disney star. Last year, the National Enquirer reported that Raven was living with an openly gay former contestant who was from the reality show 'America's Next Top Model'.

The star was listed as one of the richest black stars in the United States under the age of 40. Her net worth is said to be around US$45 million. She first earned her million as a preschool actress on 'The Cosby Show' but amassed her future during her shows such as 'That's So Raven', 'The Cheetah Girls' and 'This Is My Life'.
