Baby play yards sold under the Anna Queen brand on Amazon are being recalled after federal safety officials warned they could put infants in danger.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that the products violate required safety standards and may cause "serious injury or deadly suffocation," urging families to stop using them immediately.
The CPSC said the recalled play yards put babies at risk because an infant can slip under the mattress or become trapped between the mattress and the sides of the play area.
This kind of entrapment can lead to suffocation, one of the greatest hazards associated with unsafe sleep products.
Although no injuries have been reported so far, the agency stressed that the risks are too severe to ignore.
The recalled play yards were sold beginning in March for between $100 and $110, CBS News reported. They were made by Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co. Ltd. of China and sold using the brand name Anna Queen.
The CPSC described the product as featuring black fabric sides, gray mesh panels, and top rails covered in white fabric decorated with colorful bear prints. The matching mattress inside the play yard has the same bear design.

Parents Told to Check Recalled P700 Play Yards
According to Today, families can identify the recalled product by checking for "Model: P700" and "Production Date: 202503," which appear on the packaging and on a removable tag inside the play yard.
These details help parents confirm whether their product is affected by the recall.
The CPSC is urging all owners to stop using the play yards right away. To receive a full refund, parents must disassemble the fabric cover, cut up both the cover and the mattress pad, and email a photo of the destroyed pieces to the company at tingerservice@outlook.com.
After sending the photo, the remaining parts of the play yard should be thrown away so no one else can use them.
In its recall notice, the agency said the product "violates the mandatory standard for play yards," which includes rules for proper mattress fit, safe side panels, sturdy frames, and secure locking mechanisms.
These rules are designed to prevent the exact hazards federal officials say are present in the recalled Anna Queen model.
The CPSC encouraged parents and caregivers to check any baby products they buy online, especially from third-party sellers, to ensure they meet US safety standards.
While the Anna Queen play yards have not caused known injuries, officials emphasized that swift action can prevent tragedies.
