Starbucks Launches Free Cold Foam Deal for a Limited Time

Starbucks has launched a new limited-time promotion that gives customers a free cold foam topping on any cold drink — but only for a few days.

From May 7 to May 11, Starbucks Rewards members in the US and Canada can enjoy this offer by ordering through the Starbucks app or at participating cafes and drive-thrus.

The deal is part of what Starbucks is calling "Cold Foam Days." It includes all current cold foam options, from the popular Vanilla Sweet Cream to Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam.

According to USA Today, the promotion also comes with the debut of a brand-new flavor: Brown Sugar Cream Cold Foam.

Starbucks says the new topping has a "light and silky texture with a caramel-like sweetness" and goes best with Cold Brew, Iced Chai, or an Iced Flat White.

To redeem the offer, members can apply a coupon in the Starbucks app or tell the barista they'd like to use the promotion. Starbucks confirmed the deal is only available on cold drinks and cannot be added to hot beverages.

Starbucks Cold Foam Days Invite Fans to Try Flavorful Combos

The coffee chain is also encouraging customers to try fun flavor pairings. For instance, the Lavender Cream Cold Foam goes well with an Iced Chai Latte, while the Cherry Cream Cold Foam is recommended with an Iced Matcha Latte.

Other creative combos include Vanilla Cream Cold Foam with Iced Matcha and Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam with an Iced Caffe Latte.

Customers who aren't already Starbucks Rewards members can still join in time to use the offer. Sign-up is free through the Starbucks app or online at Starbucks.com/rewards.

Once registered, users can access deals, earn stars toward free drinks, and take part in future promotions.

The free cold foam offer ties into Starbucks' ongoing spring menu, which has already highlighted lavender-infused drinks like the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Lavender Crème Frappuccino, ABC News said.

With the new Brown Sugar Cream Cold Foam, Starbucks continues to expand its lineup of flavored toppings, giving fans even more ways to customize their drinks.

"This is a great time to try something new," Starbucks said in its announcement. "Whether you stick with a favorite or explore a new combo, Cold Foam Days are all about enjoying something extra — on us."

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the offer before it ends on Sunday, May 11, at participating locations.
