Bangladesh' Green Delta Capital ties up with BD Venture

Green Delta Capital Limited announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with BD Venture Limited. Green Delta Capital Limited is a subsidiary of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited.

The memorandum of understanding between Green Delta Capital and BD Venture was signed at the headquarters of Green Delta Capital Limited in Dhaka. Under the memorandum of understanding, Green Delta Capital and BD Venture will work together in for a variety of business sectors. Further details of the agreement, however, were not disclosed.

Executives from both companies were present at the conference. These executives from Green Delta Capital included Green Delta Capital's chief investment officer Md. Rafiqul Islam, the firm's managing director Syed Moinuddin Ahmed, acting chief executive Farzana Chowdhury, and Green Delta Capital chairman Nasir A. Choudhury. The executives from BD Venture that were present included BD Venture's managing director Shawkat Hossain,  the firm's Vice Chairman Mamun Rashid, and  BD Venture's chairman Aftabul Islam. Other managers from both firms also attended the signing of the accord.

BD Venture is a Bangladesh-based venture capital company. The firm provides venture capital funds to various small-medium enterprises in a variety of industries. Green Delta Capital is a major Merchant Bank in Dhaka that provides investment banking services. These services include raising funds through either equity or debt for its clients.
