A 31-year-old Japanese woman was arrested for allegedly killing her parents to take over their restaurant business in Tokyo.

Sources familiar with the investigation told Mainichi that the burned bodies of Ryutaro Takarajima, 55, a company executive, and his wife Sachiko, 56, were found in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, in April.
The couple reportedly owned around 20 restaurants in central Tokyo.Their eldest daughter, Manami Takarajima, along with her 32-year-old husband, Seiha Sekine, and five other men, are accused of conspiring in the murders.
Authorities suspect that Manami and her accomplices planned the killings to gain control of the family business.
Husband of Japanese Woman Had Business Disagreements With Her Parents
Between April 15 and 16, Manami and the others allegedly strangled the couple in the garage of a vacant house in Tokyo's Shinagawa Ward after they were lured to go there to see the property.
Sekine, who was the manager at some of the restaurants, reportedly had disagreements with the Takarajimas over management policies. Manami resigned as a board member of her parents' company in January.
The Mainichi reported that police arrested the couple's 31-year-old daughter on suspicion of murder, while the other six suspects were also served with arrest warrants for murder.
The six men were also indicted on charges that included destruction of human remains.
