US Company Peloton Partners with TikTok to Offer Short-form Fitness Videos

Connected fitness platform Peloton has recently announced a collaboration with TikTok, creating a new fitness hub named "#TikTokFitness Powered by Peloton." 

This hub will showcase a variety of short-form fitness videos, extended live classes, content featuring Peloton's instructors, and collaborative efforts with TikTok creators.

#TikTok Fitness Powered by Peloton

In a statement from Peloton, the company highlights the exclusive partnership, emphasizing the convergence of culture and creativity to inspire a fresh generation of fitness content and creators. 

The collaborative hub, #TikTokFitness, is set to become the go-to destination for Peloton's specialized workout content on TikTok, a departure from its traditional channels.

The curated content on #TikTokFitness Powered by Peloton will encompass select live Peloton classes, both with and without required equipment, original instructor series, ongoing partnerships with creators, Peloton class clips, and collaborations with celebrities.

"Speed of Culture"

Oli Snoddy, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Peloton, expresses the excitement surrounding the partnership, stating, "Peloton and TikTok both move at the speed of culture to better serve our respective audiences."

"We collectively recognize the way people engage with fitness is constantly changing. Our team is excited to complement TikTok's already burgeoning fitness content by introducing the magic of Peloton to new audiences, and in completely new ways."

Sofia Hernandez, Global Head of Business Marketing at TikTok, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating they are excited to bring inspirational fitness content to Peloton users.

She emphasized that TikTok provides a platform for users to learn, connect with instructors, share their fitness journeys, and find a sense of community. Hernandez highlighted the collaborative effort as a means to entertain and engage Peloton users on TikTok, creating an environment where they can access fitness content and connect with like-minded individuals.
