Getty Images agreed with Mowjow Plc to supply its pictures for the latter's forthcoming social money game. A gaming company based in London, Mowjow is in the business of making novel money games which can be played on mobiles and tablets. Getty Images is a Seattle-based stock photo agency founded in 1995 and the first to license online images. No financial details were provided on the agreement.

In a press release, Mowjow Chief Marketing Officer Matthew E. Alleyne said that the agreement was favorable for their company. "The access to high quality photos from Getty Images is a great advantage for our innovative game and will further enhance our proposition," he said.

The social gaming company creates skill-based money games for both the interactive/social gaming and mobile industry. The company, founded by Norwegian entrepreneur Andreas Christensen in 2008, caters to players who "don't consider themselves gamblers." Their distinctive gaming model also enables it to access markets like the US which had previously been inaccessible.
