Your ultimate professional success could rely on one basic thing-which is getting people do what you want. The only trick here is being persuasive without adopting dishonest or manipulative tactics.

Now here are some nine tricks or methods for persuading other people but some might be a bit tricky but they could provide a serious boost in your career.

1.     Always Have A Good Visual Handy. The researchers presented information that contradicted with the worldview of the study participant hoping to see what it will take to persuade them. This wont be always that easy. It will not always be like you'll always have a chart or power point on hand whenever you need to convince someone of something, but this is important to always keep this in mind. Cold facts and personal connections wont always do the trick wherein sometimes a visual presentation is the edge that you need to sell your point.

2.     Make People Feel Good. When we have a good feeling about someone, we are more likely to find them very persuasive. That is according to the American Psychological Association. But for some people, this could be a bit shy or awkward that probably sound sounds easier than to be done.

3.     Look The Part. If you are going to become persuasive, you have got to brush up on some body language tips and start looking the part.

4.     Repeat Yourself. Repetition in speeches and pitches is not necessarily a bad thing. Plenty of famous people speakers employed rhetorical devices that involved repetition.

5.     Make People Want To Help You. American Psychological Association found that "reciprocity" is a key factor in persuasion. People tend to be more comfortable supporting individuals who have demonstrably done something for them.

6.     Don't Whine. If you are trying to present a very convincing point it can be difficult to strike a good balance.

7.     Demonstrate Your Value. People tend to value what is rare and unusual. This can be tricky sometimes but try to use hat psychological quirk to frame and construct a convincing argument.

8.     Have People Do Favors For You. Counterintuitively, people tend to like you more when they do things for you and this is called the Ben Franklin effect.

9.     Tell a Story. Humans are emotional creatures. Data and facts are crucial but if you really want to persuasive, you've got appeal to emotion ass well. It also means a finding a compelling way of conveying what is on your mind.
