Addvocate gets USD 2 million in Series A funding

Rogers Venture Partners and angel investor Karen Riley gave Addvocate USD 2 million at the close of a Series A funding round. A previous seed round had gathered initial funds from angel investors which include Cyan and Scott Banister, Jay Baer, and Jesse Engle. Marcus Nelson, a former social media head at salesforce.com, founded Addvocate which aims to help companies optimize their employees' social voices. It is currently piloted in various Fortune 500 companies.
