MySocialCloud, the platform that allows users to manage their logins, passwords, and other data from one place, has been acquired by Reputation.com. Founded in 2006, Reputation.com leads the market in online digital privacy and reputation management. No financial details about the transaction was provided by the parties.

Michael Fertik, CEO and Founder of Reputation.com, believes that the company's acquisition of MySocialCloud "marks another strategic milestone in privacy for Reputation.com and its customers." He said, "With MySocialCloud, we're adding a highly valued platform, a creative team, new capability and customers to our portfolio."

Fertik also said that MySocialCloud will be integral in the development of the consumer data vault which is one of its main projects. The vault is basically a secure platform that stores a consumer's data. By giving an incentive which the consumer must accept, Reputation.com's client companies will be given access to the rich database to help improve their products and services.
