Dorvin Lively has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Planet Fitness, a health club franchise that boasts 650 locations and 4.5 million members all over the United States. Once the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of RadioShack Corporation, Lively has now officially joined Planet Fitness, one of the companies in the TSG Consumer Partners portfolio. The corporate finance veteran is expected to be at the helm of fitness and treasury matters of Planet Fitness.

Chief Executive Officer Chris Rondeau is "thrilled to welcome Dorvin Lively to the Planet Fitness leadership team." He adds: "His financial, real estate and franchising expertise and experience will be invaluable as we build upon Planet Fitness' continued growth and success." Lively, meanwhile, is "excited for the opportunity to join such a dynamic team."

The company has also announced other appointees in their press release. Richard Moore is now Chief Administrative Officer. Bonnie Monahan is on board as the corporate treasurer while Anna Arico now serves as the corporate controller.
