Aston Martin revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 its Autolink Rapide S, which is a new concept created out of the collaboration between the carmaker and China's LeTV.

According to Digital Trends, the company called "the Netflix of China" has its Internet of the Vehicle (IOV) system integrated in the car. The James Bond sports car has its center console totally removed and replaced by a 13.3-inch HD touchscreen. Meanwhile, its instrument panel has also been replaced with a 12.2-inch screen that has the capability to display vital information, such as digital instrumentation and gauges.

The IOV system also incorporates LeTV's new speech-recognition and remote monitoring technology in the car.

"After a few months 'efforts, we finished the integration of an Aston Martin vehicle and the LeTV IOV system," said LeTC Super Car co-founder, global vice chairman and China and Asia Pacific CEO Ding Lei in a report by Info Tech Lead. "We have successfully equipped this supercar brand with over 100 years of history with an 'Internet brain."

"Aston Martin is renowned for the beauty and quality of its hand-crafted cars," said Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andrew Palmer according to a report by ETAuto. "The integration of LeTV advanced connected technologies into this bespoke environment is a natural progression as we look to the future demands of our customers."

With all these advancements and high quality driving experience, it is easy to forget that Aston Martin only has a third of the workers that Ford has in one production facility. This means that the Gardon, Warwickshire-based automaker is a relatively small company.

The car maker has recently partnered with Mercedes-AMG, which will be supplying its engines for the years to come. The company has also collaborated with VC firm China Equity to come up with the RapidE concept.

Meanwhile, LeTV is also financially supporting the highly advanced Faraday Future FFZERO1, which was also showcased at the CES 2016.
