After Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry performed at the Superbowl, is it now time for Jennifer Lopez to finally shake her thing? A video circulated online wherein JLo's song was playing in the background while a Super Bowl trophy was shown, according to Day Herald.

However, the post containing the video was then deleted from Twitter after some time. Still, fans who got to share the news can't help but feel excited at the thought of the Latina singer possibly performing at the biggest American football game.

Bustle also reported that fans are looking forward to seeing more of the "Dance Again"singer as she killed her opening dance number at the recently held American Music Awards. If there is anyone who is worthy to do the half-time show, it should be none other than Lopez. Or is it really her?

Vox just released a report that may just kill the hopes and expectations of the JLo fans. It said that NFL has officially announced who is going to be on the Super Bowl stage. It is not Rihanna, nor Drake, nor Lopez. It's the British dad rock Coldplay.

Apparently, it was not a complete surprise that the said band was chosen. In fact, they have been the top candidate out of all the rumored performers during the football break. Also, the current release of their latest album "A Head Full of Dreams" on December 4 was like a sign that they will be the main act for the Super Bowl.

Nevertheless, JLo fans are still happy despite Lopez missing the chance against Colplay. They may not see her on stage, but they will definitely be able to watch her on the television screen as Lopez will be part of the upcoming NBC television crime series "Shades of Blue."
