Samsung releasing Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 in 2016 with premium specs and improved features

Samsung is releasing three new additions to the Galaxy A series in 2016. These are Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 which are believed to come with premium design and improved features. The new Android devices will be available in the market shelves of China in mid-December and will globally expand afterwards.

Anand Tech mentioned that Galaxy A3 comes with 1.5GHz Quad Core, while A5 and A7 come with 1.6GHz Octa Core. In terms of the RAM, Galaxy A7 has the biggest which is 3GB, while A5 has 3GB and A3 has 1.5GB. Though, all of these phones are coming with 16GB NAND + microSD, 13MP Rear-facing, F/1.9, OIS on A5 and A7 5MP Front-facing, F/1.9, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.

More so, the display of the three devices vary such that, A3 features 4.7" 1280x720 AMOLED, while A5 features 5.2" 1920x1080 AMOLED and A7 features 5.5" 1920x1080 AMOLED. With these variations, its dimensions also give idea on how big and heavy the phones are. Samsung Galaxy A7 is the biggest and heaviest with 151.5 x 74.1 x 7.3mm 172g, while A5 is the next with 144.8 x 71.0 x 7.3mm 155g, and A3 with 134.5 x 65.2 x 7.3mm 132g. The related report added that the battery will come with 3300 mAh for A7, 2900 mAh for A5 and 2300 mAh for A3.

GSM Arena listed the other premium features of the new devices. These include a fingerprint reader and Magnetic Secure Transmission, and Category 6 LTE network for A7 and A5. Further, Samsung Newsroom has the illustrations of the three new devices with its specs and features for easier look.

As of the moment, Samsung did provide any details about the release date of the three devices. Though, the company confirmed that the new Galaxy A series will be introduced in China first and then to other neighboring countries soon.
