"Persona 5" was expected to arrive in 2015, but it seems fans will have to once again continue hoping as the game was pushed back for a summer of 2016 release. It is believed that the delay was a necessity in order to make enough time for the DLC production. Nonetheless, for game director Katsura Hashino, the game will surely be worth the wait.

According to N4BB, the forthcoming role-playing video game "Persona 5" was meant for a 2015 release; however, it was postponed to summer 2016. The game's director Katsura Hashino reportedly explained that the said new release date is a perfect opportunity for Europe - let alone the other regions' release dates. Although there were no official statements explaining the delay of "Persona 5," many speculated that such move will give birth to new ideas; hence requiring more time for development.

iSchoolGuide, on the other hand, noted that the specific reason the Japanese video game company Atlus moved "Persona 5" was to pave the way for the DLC production. It is worth noting that the franchise has never used downloadable contents since day one, thus there's a greater chance that the upcoming installment might just incorporate it. In fact, reports say that the DLC will be made available as soon as the official release of "Persona 5."

There are also speculations that the first "Persona 5" DLC might essentially be corrective in nature, as reported by Realty Today. Moreover, the 35-year-old Katsura Hashino reportedly ensured fans that the game "will be worth the wait" and also admitted just how challenging the game was.

Fans of "Persona 5" have been playing the waiting game since winter of 2014, the original launched date. From there up to this writing, the game has always been hoped to be unleashed.

It holds true that gamers have been eager to play "Persona 5," thus many were saddened when Atilus announced the game's postponement to summer 2016. Anyway, once that day comes and the game proves to be an interesting one for fans, the wait is indeed a worthy one.
